Jaipuria Tasks
Privacy Policy
Jaipuria Tasks is an authenticated staff task and meeting workspace operated for Seth M.R. Jaipuria Schools and technically maintained with Result Hosting. This policy explains how information is handled when authorized staff use the Android app and its connected task-management service.
Information handled
- Account and profile data, including name, username, email address, phone number, role, department, profile image, and account status.
- Workplace content, including tasks, replies, status history, meetings, participants, checklists, notifications, and device-alert records.
- Files that an authorized user deliberately selects for upload, such as task evidence, images, and PDF documents.
- Authentication, session, security, and synchronization records needed to operate and protect the service.
- Basic technical request data that web servers normally process, such as IP address, request time, and error information.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate authorized staff, enforce role and department access, provide task and meeting functions, synchronize workplace changes, deliver user-requested notifications, investigate security or service problems, and support authorized administrators.
Visibility and sharing
Workspace information is visible only to authenticated users according to the configured organizational hierarchy and permissions. Jaipuria Tasks does not sell personal data and does not use workplace data for third-party advertising. Information may be processed by hosting or technical service providers only to operate, secure, maintain, or support the service, or disclosed when required by law.
Android device behavior
The app stores a private session identifier and limited synchronization state on the device. Android cloud backup is disabled for the app. Notifications are optional, use Android notification channels, and can be changed or disabled in Android system settings. Background synchronization uses Android WorkManager and follows device battery and network restrictions. The app can open Android battery settings so users can review device-specific restrictions that may delay five-minute task, reply, and meeting checks.
Security
The Play release connects to the service using HTTPS. Access is controlled through authenticated sessions and role-based authorization. Users should protect their credentials and must never send a password in a support or deletion request.
Retention and deletion
Records are retained while needed for active workplace operations and legitimate institutional, security, dispute-resolution, or legal requirements. Following a verified deletion request, account data is deleted or de-identified where reasonably possible. Some task, meeting, audit, or security records may be retained when necessary to preserve institutional records or meet legal obligations.

Children
Jaipuria Tasks is an internal workplace productivity service for authorized staff and is not directed to children.
